About us

Hampstead Appraisal Company was established in 1984, and for more than four decades I have provided professional appraisal services for both residential and commercial properties throughout Los Angeles County. Over the years, I have prepared valuations for lending underwriting, estate tax filings, estate planning, family law matters, eminent domain, and asset management decisions. Today, my practice focuses on office, retail, industrial, and apartment projects of five units or more. The primary use of my appraisals is for estate tax planning and reporting, as well as family law matters such as divorce and other financial decisions within families and trusts.

I am a Certified General Appraiser with the California Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers—the highest level of licensing available in the profession—qualified to appraise all types of real property. In addition, I hold the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, the nation’s largest and most respected professional organization for appraisers. I am an active member of the Southern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (SCCAI), where I served in the executive chairs from 2008 to 2012 and as Chapter President in 2011.

I take pride in my track record: in over a thousand completed assignments, I have never delivered an appraisal later than the promised date.
